Our cooperation with public administration includes developing and promoting competence, expertise, and communications in the youth sector in accordance with the Finnish Youth Act.
We support public actors, such as municipalities, wellbeing services counties, ministries, and other governmental institutions, enabling and promoting youth participation.
Shorter but regular collaborations with this sector include producing, for example, reports on young people’s opinions on chosen topics and youth consultations related to legislative processes.
Additionally, our long-term projects and work in this sector include a coordination project supporting development projects promoting inclusion, equality and gender equality in services for children, young people and families, administrating and coordinating a national youth work center of expertise focusing on youth participation and influencing in Finland, and a cooperation project to support youth participation at the regional level in the recently established wellbeing services counties.
